Configure One’s Concept E-Commerce software functionality is designed to be used in conjunction with Configure One’s enterprise product configurator or electronic catalog products.  At the center of the Concept E-Commerce software solution is full-featured e-commerce shopping cart functionality.  Our e-commerce store functionality allows users to assemble a shopping cart of desired items and then take specific actions, such as ordering, quoting, and requesting a quote for their given shopping cart.

Concept’s shopping cart functionality uses Web 2.0 AJAX architecture, to provide a visual picture of items flowing in to the shopping cart, and the cart updating without the need to refresh the entire browser.  Depending on the e-commerce software solution implementation and the user’s security rights, a user can perform a number of activities from the shopping cart, including:

• View and edit cart contents
• Locate a distributor to send the cart to for further quoting
• E-mail the cart to a coworker or supervisor
• Print the list of items in the cart
• Save the cart for later retrieval
• Create a quote document automatically for the items in the cart
• Request a quote for the items within a cart
• Request an order
• Order the cart items via credit card or a purchase order

Concept E-Commerce has e-payment functionality via integration with over 60 gateways. Concept E-Commerce functionality can also be integrated with any other industry standard gateway you choose even if it is not one that Concept already supports.

Concept E-Commerce provides seamless integration to Google Checkout. Google Checkout is a fast, convenient checkout process from Google. It contains a fraud protection policy that covers all parties against unauthorized purchases made through Google Checkout. Google Checkout lets your customers buy from you with a single login and lets you efficiently process their orders and charge their credit cards or debit cards. 

In Business-to-Business electronic commerce and in your e-commerce store, you may need to let partners and customers place an order for the items in their shopping cart via a purchase order. Concept E-Commerce contains the functionality to let users upload their PO, move the transaction to the order processing queue, and then allow system administrators to firm up the order appropriately and submit it for electronic transfer to the ERP or MRP system.
