April Michigan-Indiana User Group Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the Michigan-Indiana User Group met for a successful day of learning Tuesday, April 7, 2020. About half the attendees were alumni, having taken part in our fall 2019 regional user group meeting, while the other half were new to the group.

COVID-19 had us responsibly host the meeting virtually using Zoom, but that didn’t slow down this group! To make the session more interactive, we leveraged Survey Monkey, polling the attendees and gaining valuable voice-of-the-customer feedback. Polling results indicated that attendees are most excited about our Next-Gen UI (2020 Theme) in Version 11.88 (released last month). The most valuable features of our quote documents are that they are infinitely customizable and yield consistent results no matter the user/persona creating the quote.

Customer attendees showcased their CPQ implementations for the group, including their quote documents. Attendees were able to network with one another and learn from the examples demonstrated. Additionally, we had sessions focusing on Bills of Material (BOM) and quote documentation generation. While attendees missed the opportunity to mingle and develop relationships in person, they agreed that they liked that the virtual format allowed them to share screens to showcase accomplishments or surface questions easily. We are targeting fall 2020 for the next gathering of this group and will potentially follow a hybrid format where attendees can attend either in-person or virtually.
