Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, one of the world’s largest custom truck bodies manufacturers, has announced its partnership with software company Configure One.

“Maintainer sees the many benefits of automating our process, from the initial customer contact through production release,” Archie England, Maintainer manufacturing operations vice president, said. “Configure One provided a very easy-to-use package that creates a clear path for this improvement.” Together, the companies will be able to advance innovation of products, England said.

“This partnership will eventually result in decreased Manufacturing Critical-path Time (MCT), while also freeing up resources that will be used to further advance new product development and innovation,” England said. “So, overall, we see it as a ‘win-win’ for Maintainer and our customers.”

In October, Maitainer announced the addition of new 16-inch electric-hydraulic and hydraulic cranes, joining the company’s innovative line of service truck cranes. The new cranes were unveiled as part of the opening of the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky.

Maintainer, founded in 1976, manufactures customized mechanics service truck bodies and lube truck bodies, as well as specialty configurations for a variety of industries.
