In online sessions with customers, SNAPOffice provides 3D design schematics, bills of material, and quotations — all in real time. However, to achieve its quoted three-week product lead time, SNAPOffice needed a more seamless design and quote-to-production process. So the company turned to Configure One.

Using the Configure One Connect integration module, our experienced consultant worked with SNAPOffice to integrate Configure One with SNAPOffice’s ERP system — E2 Shop Control System from Shoptech.

Now E2 automatically provides Configure One with new and updated customer and item master data. Once a quote is accepted, it is converted to a sales order in Configure One. Configure One Connect automatically creates a unique part number and bill of material in E2, and then imports the order header and detail to create the full sales order. The integration between Configure One and E2 eliminates redundant data entry and errors, and ensures that the data is always accurate and up to date. The integration between the two systems in effect provides SNAPOffice with an E2 configurator.
